Step 1 Woxter Nimbus 98 RQ

Before you start, make sure the tablet is off.

Step 2 Back cover

Remove the 4 Torx screws located on both sides.

Step 3

Use the opening tool at the wide end to disengage the back cover.

Hold with a suction cup for comfort.

Step 4

Remove the adhesives that hold the battery and components.

Step 5 Speaker

Peel off the speaker from the plastic frame. Subject to 1 Phillips screw.

Step 6 Desoldering components

Unsolder the antenna coaxial cable. For this, we apply heat with the tip of the soldering iron to the tin while, simultaneously, we pull the cable gently.

Also discard the battery cables.

Step 7

Also unsolder the speaker to install on the new motherboard.

Step 8 Flex LCD

Disconnect the flex from the LCD display.

Step 9 Touch screen flex

Unplug the flex from the card reader and the data from the touch screen.

Step 10

Disconnect the flex from the cameras

Step 11 Motherboard

Finally, separate the base plate, held by 3 Phillips screws.

You must weld the components back to the new motherboard.
