Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Wolder MiTab Seattle

Characteristics:
Dimensions: 261 x 164.1 x 10mm.
Weight: 587g.
Display: TFT 10.1 inches, 1024x600 pixels.
Processor: Quad core 1.3GHz, GPU: 3D dual.
Memory: 8GB, RAM: 1GB.
Front camera : 2MP.
Rear camera : 5MP.
Battery: 6000mAh.
Operating system: Android 4.4.

Step 2 carcasa flanks

On the back, on the right side, we will find a small side shell. We will remove it to access the SD and SIM cards and also to a screw that holds the back cover.

Before continuing we will remove the cards and the screw.

Step 3 Back case

Now, to remove the back shell, we will introduce a pick between it and the frame. Sliding it around the contour, we will unhook the notches that hold the casing.

Step 4 Desoldering components

We will start by removing the adhesive that is on the display covering part of the plate and some components. Then we will begin to desolder.

In this step we desoldamos the antenna, the battery, the speaker and the microphone.

Step 5 Flex screws and cables

Now we disconnect the flex cables from the display and the touch screen and also remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the motherboard.

Step 6 Motherboard

To finish, take off the stickers that hold the plate to the back of the display and then, if we had not done it before, disconnect and remove the cameras.
