Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Wolder MiTab Boston

Characteristics:
Dimensions: 21.6 x 14.6 x 5.2 cm.
Weight: 277g.
Display: 7 inches, 1024x600 pixels multitouch.
Memory: 8GB, 512 RAM. SD up to 32GB.
Processor: Dual Core 1GHz CPU.
Front camera : 2MP.
Battery: 2500 mAh.
Operating system: Android 4.4.

Step 2 Remove back casing

The first step will be to remove the back cover. To do this, using a plastic opening tool, we will separate the casing from the chassis using lever movements to release it from the hooks that hold it.

Step 3 Take off speaker

In order to remove the case we will have to take off the speaker. In this way we will avoid damaging it while we manipulate the tablet.

Step 4 Heat screen

To remove the touch screen (window and digitizer), first disconnect the flex from the motherboard.

Now we can heat the screen to soften the glue.

Step 5 Touch screen

With the hot screen, we will slide a spike around the contour between the window and the chassis to take off.
