Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

Unhook the back cover on all sides.

Step 2 Framework

We will also disengage the frame.

Step 3 Flex

We disconnect and remove the interconnection flex and the digitizer flex.

Step 4 Microphone

We desoldamos the microphone and then solder it to the new motherboard.

Step 5 Armor

We disconnect the flex from the audio connector, remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield, and we can remove it.

Step 6 Speakers

We extract the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the speakers, unhook them and desold them from the motherboard that we are going to replace.

Step 7 Side push buttons

We disconnect the flex from the side buttons and take it off.

Step 8 Rear camera

We disconnect and remove the rear camera.

Step 9 Interconnection Flex

We disconnected the interconnection flex from the motherboard.

Step 10 Motherboard

Remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the motherboard to the chassis, remove the motherboard, and finally we just have to disconnect the front camera from the motherboard that we are going to replace to place it on the new board.
