Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 We apply heat

To start we heat the screen on a thermal mat. Then we introduce a fine opening tool and when doing so we introduce a plastic spike to detach the screen without risk of damaging it.

When taking off the screen, lift it as indicated in the image so as not to damage the flex of the screen.

Step 2 Disconnect display

Holding the screen we remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) from the flex shield.

Then with the help of a fine plastic tool we disconnect the flex from the screen and extract it.

Step 3 Disconnect battery

We disconnect the battery to work more safely.

Step 4 Speaker

We remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the speaker. Then we will remove the shield that covers the camera by removing the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that it has. Then we pry it out with a fine plastic tool and unhook the speaker.

Step 5 Rear camera

We remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) from the other shield that covers the rear camera and remove it. Then we remove the adhesive that covers the camera, disconnect it with a fine plastic tool and extract it.

Step 6 Frontal camera

We remove the adhesive that protects the connector of the front camera, then with the help of a fine plastic tool we lift the tab of the connector, extract the flex with the help of rounded anti-static tweezers and remove the front camera.

Step 7 Plastic cover

We remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the plastic cover and remove it.

Step 8 Interconnection flex

We remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) from the flex shield and disconnect it using a fine plastic tool.

Step 9 SIM card tray

We remove the SIM card tray with a SIM removal tool.

Step 10 Base plate

Finally, we remove the five Phillips screws (PH # 00) and make a light lever, with a plastic tool, to unhook the motherboard and remove it.
