Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

We must start by applying heat to the back cover, then introduce a thin tool to go unpinning all the edges of the casing.

Step 2 Fingerprint Flex

We disconnected the interconnection flex between the fingerprint reader and the motherboard.

Step 3 We disconnected battery

Remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield that protects the battery connector and the interconnection flex. We remove the shielding and disconnect the battery to avoid possible damage.

Step 4 Intermediate housing

Remove the eight Phillips screws (PH # 00) and unhook the shield covering the screen connector and the intermediate housing.

Step 5 Motherboard with rear cameras

Remove the front camera, disconnect all components that are connected to the motherboard, remove the tray from the cards, and with the help of a fine tool we can unhook the motherboard.

Step 6 Motherboard

We take off the adhesive that is on top of the connectors of the cameras and we will be able to disconnect the cameras from the motherboard that we are going to replace.
