Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove SIM / SD tray

We start by removing the SIM / SD tray so that the rear case can be removed later.

Step 2 Remove back cover

With an opening tool, we will leverage to disengage the chassis housing. Then we will disconnect the fingerprint reader to be able to separate it.

Step 3 Remove shields

We took out the six Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the connector shield and the internal upper casing to be able to remove them.

Step 4 Disconnect components

Now we disconnect the coaxial cable, the interconnection flex, the battery, the screen, the flex of side buttons, the front camera and the proximity sensor.

Step 5 Removing the motherboard

We remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the motherboard and unlock it.

Step 6 Rear cameras

It only remains to disconnect the cameras and disengage them from the motherboard.
