Step 3 Remove battery

We can use the opening tool to make it easier for us to remove the battery.

Step 4 Intermediate housing screws and SIM and SD cards

We will pull the cards to remove them and remove the nine Torx T5 screws that hold the case.

Step 5 Unpin intermediate housing

We will use a pick to separate the middle casing from the chassis. Sliding it around the contour, we will unhook it.

Step 6 Disconnect flex cables

To get to the handset, we will have to remove the motherboard. For this we will disconnect the flex cables from the display and from the touch screen.

We will also remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the motherboard.

Step 7 Take off lower flex

To remove the flex, first we will have to remove the adhesive that covers it. After removing the adhesive we will detach the flex from the chassis.

Step 8 Removing the motherboard

Before removing the motherboard, we will have to undo the handset. Carefully, we will introduce a tool between it and the frame and we will remove it by levering.

Now we can separate the plate from the chassis.
