Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 SIM tray

With a SIM removal tool we remove the SIM tray.

Step 2 Back case

With an opening tool we remove the back cover carefully, without pulling hard.

Unscrew the Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the sheet metal and remove it.

We disconnect the flex from the fingerprint reader on the motherboard. We remove the back cover.

Step 3 Embellisher

Remove the Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the trim on the base plate and remove it.

Step 4 Components

We disconnected the connection interface; the flex of the battery, the flex of the screen and the coaxial cable.

Step 5 Side push buttons

We disconnect the flex from the side buttons and remove it.

Step 6 Motherboard

Unscrew the Phillips screws (PH # 00) from the base plate and remove it by prying it off.

Step 7 Rear camera

We disconnected the two flexes of the rear camera and removed it.
