Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Tray

To begin, we must remove the card tray with the help of an extraction tool.

Step 2 Back case

We remove the two Pentalobe screws (TS1) that hold the back cover by the bottom, with the help of a thin tool we will be unhooking all the edges of the case, and once it is completely disengaged we must disconnect the flex from the fingerprint reader.

Step 3 We disconnect battery

We remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield that covers the battery connector, we remove it and we can disconnect the battery to work with greater security.

Step 4 Speaker

We remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the speaker module, and with the help of a flat tool we unhook it.

Step 5 Upper housing

We remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the housing, and with the help of the tool we used in the previous step, we will remove the upper housing.

Step 6 Motherboard with components

We disconnect the flex from the screen, the bridge flex and the flex from the side push-buttons, we remove the five Phillips screws (PH # 00) and the Pentalobe (TS1) that hold the motherboard, we lift it with the help of a flat tool, and we must disconnect the coaxial cable that is connected to the back of the board.

Step 7 Components

We take off the headset, the vibrator, and the flex with the side buttons.

Step 8 Flex bridge and battery

We remove the flex bridge, and take off the battery with the help of a flat tool. which we can moisten a little with alcohol.

Step 9 Cable coaxial

We unhook the coaxial cable from the chassis.

Step 10 Fullscreen

And to finish we will only have to remove the auxiliary plate, for this we must remove the two Pentalobe screws (TS1) that hold it and we can already take it off with a flat tool.
