Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove back cover

We will start by removing the back cover. To do this, first remove the SIM / SD tray and then, with an opening tool, we will leverage the entire contour to separate it from the chassis.

Step 2 Disconnect fingerprint reader

To be able to separate the back cover, we will have to disconnect the flex from the fingerprint reader of the motherboard. For this, we will have to first remove the shield that covers the connector.

Step 3 Drums

Remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield of the battery connector and remove the shield to disconnect it.

To finish, we will pull the tab to remove the battery.
