We apply heat to the back casing, and with the help of a fine tool we will just raise the casing to introduce one or more plastic tines, and thus we will not scratch the casing.
Step 2 Fingerprint Flex
Disconnect the flex interconnect fingerprint reader.
Step 3 Intermediate housing
We extract the fifteen Phillips screws (PH # 000) that hold the intermediate housing, and with the help of a flat tool we will disengage it.
Step 4 Rear camera
We remove the Phillips screw (PH # 000) and the shields around the rear camera, and we can disconnect it.
Step 5 Frontal camera
We disconnect and remove the front camera.
Step 6 Components
We disconnect all the components that are connected to the motherboard.
Step 7 Motherboard
We extract the three Phillips screws (PH # 000) that hold the motherboard, remove the tray from the cards, and with the help of a flat tool we lift the base plate.
Step 8 Side push buttons
We extract the four Phillips screws (PH # 000), and using a flat tool we will detach and unhook the side buttons.
Step 9 Battery with wireless charging
Remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 000) that hold the shield, and with the help of a flat tool we can remove the battery with shielding and wireless charging.
Step 10 Drums
Finally, using the adhesive strips between the battery and the shield, we will remove the battery that we are going to replace.
