Step 2 Heat and take off back cover

In order to open the phone, we will have to take off the back cover. We will use the thermal mat and heat it to soften the adhesive.

Once hot we will slide a spike between the lid and the casing to remove the glue.

Step 3 Remove inner casing

To remove the casing, we will first remove the nine Torx T4 screws and then, with the help of an opening tool, we will disengage it from the chassis.

Step 4 Disconnect components

In this step we disconnect the components of the motherboard. We disconnected the vibrator, the antenna coaxial cable, the flex of the screen and the rear camera.

Before removing the plate we will advance to the next step.

Step 5 Removing the motherboard

Before removing the base plate, we will disconnect and detach the connection flex with the auxiliary plate.

To be able to later remove the screen, we will take off the flex of this one, that is stuck to the chassis. For this we will slide a letter or some flat and flexible opening tool.

Step 6 Fullscreen

To finish we will heat the screen to soften the adhesive that holds it attached to the chassis. With it hot, we will slide a prong or other opening tool as flat and flexible as possible between the screen and the chassis.

We will have to be careful to get the spike between the display and the chassis.
