Step 2 Back case

With the help of an opening tool, we will start to disengage the back cover to be able to remove it.

Step 3 Battery and cards

In this step we remove the battery by lifting it with the help of a tool or with your hands. We also remove the SIM and SD cards.

Step 4 Remove screws and heat screen

To remove the chassis, first remove the nine Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate housing.

Now we will heat the screen to soften the glue on the edges and make it easier for us to insert the spike between it and the case.

We have to remove the chassis where the screen is stuck. So we will take off only the edges.

Step 5 Unpin intermediate housing

We introduce the barb between the chassis and the intermediate casing in order to extract it.

Then we disconnect the lower flex and remove the screw that holds the base plate to the chassis.

Step 6 Handset

To finish, remove the motherboard to access the handset and take it off the chassis
