Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

To start we must apply heat to the back shell, in order to soften the adhesive that holds it, and with the help of a thin enough metal tool, we will open a small one through which we will introduce a plastic spike, with which it will be less likely damage the case, and we will take off all the edges.

Step 2 Intermediate housing

We remove the seventeen Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate casing, remove the card tray, and with the help of a fine tool we will unhook the sides of the casing making soft levers all around it.

Step 3 We disconnect battery

We disconnect the battery to work with greater security.

Step 4 Frontal camera

We disconnect and remove the front camera.

Step 5 Fingerprint reader

We disconnect and remove the fingerprint reader.

Step 6 Rear cameras

We disconnect all the connectors from the rear cameras, and once disconnected we can remove the module.

Step 7 Base plate

We disconnect the flex from the screen, the flex bridge with the charging connector, and the coaxial cable, remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the motherboard to the chassis, and with the help of a flat tool we will remove it.

Step 8 Volume buttons

We take off the faulty buttons that we are going to replace with the help of tweezers and a fine tool.
