Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove back cover

We start by removing the back cover. To do this, we will leverage with an opening tool or directly with our hands we can open it.

Step 2 Remove intermediate housing

Now we remove the battery and remove the fourteen Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the housing. We can now remove the case by prying it with the opening tool to release it from the notches that hold it.

Step 3 Disconnect components

We remove the side keys to be able to take off the push buttons flex. Then we will disconnect the flex from the display, the interconnection flex, the digitizer and the coaxial antenna cable.

Step 4 Removing the motherboard

After disconnecting the components we only have to remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the base plate to the chassis to be able to disengage it.

Step 5 Handset

We only have to take off the headset of the chassis.
