Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

To begin we must apply heat to the back cover to soften the adhesive that holds it, we have used a thermal mat for about 3 minutes, at about 70º C, and then with the help of some plastic spikes we have been taking off all the edges of the casing.

Step 2 Intermediate shell

We remove the ten Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the casing, and with the help of a flat tool we will unhook it.

Step 3 We disconnect battery

We disconnect the battery to work with greater safety.

Step 4 Components

We disconnect the interconnection flex connectors and the charging flex connector, and also the coaxial ones.

Step 5 Screw

We extract the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the motherboard.

Step 6 cameras

Before proceeding to remove the motherboard, we will remove the cameras, since some of them are slightly fixed to the chassis with some double-sided tape, and if we do not remove them now we can damage them.

Step 7 base plate

Once all the cameras have been removed, we can now lift and remove the base plate.

Step 8 power button

To remove the ignition flex before we must take off the battery, then we will remove the plastic cover that covers the hole of the button, and as in the previous step, with tweezers we will take off the area of the contacts and we will be able to extract the flex.
