Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Tray

First we have removed the tray for the cards.

Step 2 Back case

We apply heat to the back shell to soften the adhesive that holds it, with the help of a thin tool we will open hollow to introduce one or more plastic tines, and thus detach the back cover without damaging it.

Step 3 Intermediate housing

Remove the eleven Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate housing, and with the help of a flat tool we will unhook it.

Step 4 We disconnected battery

We will disconnect the battery to avoid possible damage.

Step 5 Speaker

We remove the eleven Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the loudspeaker module, and with the help of a tool we will detach it.

Step 6 Components

Disconnect the components that are connected to the motherboard, and remove the rear cameras.

Step 7 Motherboard

We disconnect the flex from the upper module, the coaxial cables, and we can unhook the motherboard.

Step 8 Push buttons and side keys

Unhook the plastic cover that holds the keys inside the chassis, and when you remove it the key itself will be released, and with the help of a flat clamp we will take off the flexes with the side pushbuttons on both sides.

Step 9 Lifting motor

We extract the five Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the elevator motor and we will take off with a pair of flat tongs.

Step 10 Top module

We removed the upper module, and being careful with the flex.

Step 11 Charge connector and interconnection flex

We disconnect and remove all the flexes that are above the battery.

Step 12 Auxiliary plate

We disconnect the flex from the screen, lift the auxiliary plate, and disconnect the coaxial cable.

Step 13 Vibrator and fingerprint reader

Take off the vibrator and the fingerprint reader with flat tweezers.

Step 14 Battery and adhesives

Take off the battery and remove the stickers.

Step 15 Fullscreen

Finally we have removed the two coaxial cables from the screen that we are going to replace.
