Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Tray

First of all we must extract the card tray, for this we will use an extraction tool.

Step 2 Back case

With the help of a plastic pick we will unhook all the edges of the housing, but before removing it we will have to be careful with the adhesive that is in the area of the rear cameras, and we must detach the fingerprint reader from the housing.

Step 3 Intermediate housing

We extract the nine Torx screws (T5) that hold the intermediate housing, and with the help of a flat-tipped tool we will remove it.

Step 4 We disconnect the battery

We disconnect the battery to work with greater safety.

Step 5 Fingerprint reader

We disconnect and remove the fingerprint reader.

Step 6 Speaker

We extract the eight Torx screws (T5) that hold the cover in which the speaker is located, and with the help of a flat tool we will unhook it.

Step 7 Motherboard with cameras

We disconnect the interconnection flex, the one for the screen and the two coaxial cables, we will extract the Torx screws (T5) that hold the motherboard to the phone's chassis, and with the help of a flat tool we will lift it, taking care with the cameras.

Step 8 Volume and power buttons

We take off the flex with the help of tweezers, and we will take off the pushbutton area with a finer tool, we have used a metal pick.

Step 9 Google Assistant button

With the Google assistant button we will do the same process as with the power and volume buttons.

Step 10 Handset

We'll take off the headset.

Step 11 Interconnection flex

We disconnect the interconnection flex from the auxiliary plate.

Step 12 Drums

We take off the battery with the help of tools which we can moisten with isopropyl alcohol to soften the adhesive that holds it.

Step 13 Coaxial cables

We disconnect the two coaxial cables and remove them.

Step 14 Auxiliary board

We remove the Torx screw (T5) that holds the plate to the terminal chassis, and we can unhook it.

Step 15 Full screen

Finally, we only have to extract the vibrator from the damaged screen that we have to replace.
