Step 3 Back cover

In this model we find that the back cover is fixed with adhesive. To detach it, we introduce the tip of a pick and go around the contour.

Step 4

Holding the lid with a suction cup, we separate the lid by one of the sides, just enough to insert a flat plastic tool, which allows us to take off the center of the lid.

As you can see in the photographs, the adhesive occupies almost the entire surface. It is recommended to replace it before reinstalling the cover.

Step 5 Intermediate housing

Remove the 22 Torx screws that hold the back cover.

Step 6

Remove the plastic cover and disconnect the flex from the battery.

Step 7

Use the prong to release the plastic hooks located on the contour of the housing.

Step 8 Rear camera

Remove the piece of tape that covers the camera connector.

Step 9

Disconnect the camera from the motherboard, by pulling the connector tab and pulling gently.

Step 10 Front camera

Unplug and remove the front camera.

Step 11 Speaker

Peel off the speaker at the bottom of the motherboard.

Step 12 Screen Flex

Remove the adhesive tape covering the flex LCD connector.

Unplug the flex on the motherboard, by pulling on the tab of the connector and pulling gently.

Step 13

Repeat the process for the flex of the touch screen: Remove the adhesive tape and disconnect the flex by actuating the tab of the connector and pulling gently.

Step 14 Motherboard
