Step 2 Remove back casing

To begin with we will remove the back cover. For this we will use a barb or other opening tool and sliding it between it and the intermediate housing, we will unhook it from the notches that hold it.

Step 3 Remove battery

To remove the battery simply disengage, if necessary with the help of a tool, as it is not stuck.

Step 4 SIM and microSD cards

To remove the cards we will pull or push, as we showed in the images, to extract them.

Step 5 Intermediate housing

To remove the intermediate casing first remove the eight Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold it and then using an opening tool we will release it from the hooks.

Step 6 Removing the motherboard

Since the motherboard is only held by the flex cable of the screen, and this has to be disconnected, we will remove it to avoid damaging it while we continue to manipulate it.

Step 7 Heat screen

In this step we will need to heat the glass to soften the glue and thus be able to remove the screen more easily.

Below we will see two ways to perform this step.

We will use a high thermal retention blanket (HOT GLASS) to heat the glass.

Insert the HOT GLASS in the microwave for the time specified in the instructions.

The gun emits VERY hot air, use with caution.

We recommend the use at minimum power and short bursts, since excess heat can damage the equipment.

Step 8 Fullscreen

With the hot screen we introduce the barb or another opening tool to take off the screen of the frame. We will avoid as far as possible the area in which the flex of the screen is located so as not to damage it.
