Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Trays

With a SIM removal tool we remove the trays from the SIM and SD cards.

Step 2 Back case

We must remove the back cover, for this we must apply heat with a thermal mat for a few minutes, then with the help of an opening tool thin enough, we separate the case a little and introduce some plastic spikes to remove it without damaging it.

Step 3 Fingerprint reader

To disconnect the fingerprint reader we will use a fine plastic tool to disconnect the reader.

Step 4 Intermediate housing

We extract the 12 Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate casing, and with the help of a flat plastic tool we unhook it and remove it.

Step 5 Disconnect battery

We disconnect the battery to work more safely.

Step 6 Speaker

We remove the 5 Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the speaker and with the help of a fine plastic tool we remove the speaker.

Step 7 Components

In order to remove the motherboard we will disconnect the flex from the screen, from the rear cameras, front camera and earphone. We remove the components.

Step 8 Base plate

To remove the motherboard we are going to unhook it from the tabs that hold it with a fine plastic tool and extract it.

Step 9 Volume buttons and Google Assistant

With a fine tool we remove the buttons from the chassis and remove the keys.

Step 10 Battery

To remove the battery we use a plastic tool, we pry it carefully and we can add a little alcohol to make it easier to take it off.

Step 11 Push button and power key

With a fine tool we remove the button from the chassis and remove the power button.

Step 12 screen

Finally we take off the vibrator and remove it.
