Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1

Before starting make sure that the mobile is off.

Step 2 Opening

Remove the back cover with the opening tool, thus avoiding scratching the casing.

Step 3 Battery

Remove the battery by pulling on the bottom.

Step 4 SIM and microSD cards

Remove the SIM and micro SD cards.

Step 5 Intermediate housing

Remove the 13 Phillips screws that hold the middle housing.

Step 6

Use the metal spatula to loosen the plastic notches that hold the housing.

Step 7 Bottom module

Release the plastic hooks with the metal spatula to remove the lower module.

Step 8 Baseboard connectors

Disconnect the cameras from the motherboard.

Step 9

Disconnect the data cables from the screen.

Step 10 Motherboard

Remove the motherboard.

Step 11 Audio connector

To remove the audio connector, simply pull it up.
