Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove SIM / SD tray

We start by removing the SIM / SD tray to remove the back cover.

Step 2 Remove back casing

We introduce an opening tool between the frame and the housing, prying it loose.

Step 3 Remove plate shield

We remove the seven T4 Torx screws that hold the antenna module with base plate shielding and then unlock it.

Step 4 Disconnect components

Disconnect the components connected to the motherboard and then remove the three Torx T4 screws that hold it.

Step 5 Removing the motherboard

We will raise the plate with care since we still have to disconnect the flex from the display and the lower microphone

Step 6 Motherboard

All that remains is to remove the fingerprint sensor and the cameras.
