Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove SIM / SD tray

We start by removing the SIM / SD tray to remove the back cover.

Step 2 Remove back casing

We introduce an opening tool between the frame and the housing, prying it loose.

Step 3 Remove plate shield

We remove the seven T4 Torx screws that hold the antenna module with base plate shielding and then unlock it.

Step 4 Disconnect components

Disconnect the components connected to the motherboard and then remove the three Torx T4 screws that hold it.

Step 5 Removing the motherboard

We will raise the plate with care since we still have to disconnect the flex from the display and the lower microphone

Step 6 Flex with microphone and speaker contacts

To get to the flex we will have to remove the battery and the speaker module. For this we can see the battery guide.

It only remains to take off the flex of the chassis.
