Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Tray

To start, we must remove the card tray using the removal tool.

Step 2 Back case

With the help of a fine tool we will unhook all the edges of the back cover.

Step 3 We disconnect battery

We remove the three Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield covering the connectors, and disconnect the flex from the battery to work with greater security.

Step 4 Cover

We remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the cover and remove it.

Step 5 Cameras

We remove the adhesive that is above the front camera, and now we can disconnect and remove the front camera, and we will do the same with the rear camera.

Step 6 Components

We disconnect the interconnection flex, the screen flex, the coaxial cable, and the flex of side push buttons.

Step 7 Motherboard

We remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the motherboard, and with the help of a flat tool we will lift it.

Step 8 Proximity sensor

Finally, with the help of flat tweezers we will take off the damaged proximity sensor that we have to change.
