To begin with we must apply a little heat to the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive that holds the casing, and with the help of a suction cup and a pick we are taking off all the edges.

Remove the eight Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the housing and remove the adhesive that is above the battery.

We disconnected the interconnection flex, the battery flex, the fingerprint reader flex, and with the help of a plastic tool we will take off the broken battery. Wetting the tool, with which we are going to take off the battery, in alcohol can help a lot when it comes to taking it off.

We remove the coaxial cable.

We remove the six Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the speaker module and unhook it.

We remove the auxiliary plate and the interconnection flex.

We take off the vibrator.

We disconnect the fingerprint reader, and remove the flex that connects it to the motherboard.

Using a fine enough prong, we take off and remove the side buttons.

We disconnect and remove the audio connector and the front camera.

We disconnect the flex from the screen, remove the tray from the cards, and remove the motherboard.

Finally we only have to remove the light and infrared sensor and the headset of the screen that we are going to replace.
