Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back cover

We apply heat to the back shell and we are taking off the shell with the help of some opening tool.

Step 2 Back case

Remove the 9 Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the rear case.

Step 3 Intermediate housing

Remove the 2 Phillips screws (PH # 00), disconnect the flex from the battery and detach the components that are glued to the housing.

Step 4 Battery

With the help of an opening tool we take off the battery that we are going to replace. To detach it more easily we can try to throw 3 or 4 drops of alcohol under the battery to soften the glue.
