Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 CAT B15Q

Characteristics:

Dimensions: 69.5 x 125 x 14.95 mm.

Weight: 170 g.

SoC: MediaTek MT6582M.

Processor: ARM Cortex-A7, 1300 MHz , Number of cores: 4.

Graphic processor: ARM Mali-400 MP2, 416 MHz, Number of cores: 2 RAM memory: 1 GB, 533 MHz.

Memory cards: microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC.

Display: 4 in., LCD, 480 x 800 pixels, 24 bit Battery: 2000 mAh, Li-ion (lithium ion).

Step 2 Back cover

We will start by removing the battery cover. For this we will unlock the safety and with the hands or with the help of a tool, we will disengage the lid.

Step 3 Housing and battery screws

First we will remove the rubber protector from the audio connector as it covers two of the screws in the center housing. For this we remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds it.

Now we can remove the four Torx screws (T4) that hold the case and also remove the battery.

Step 4 Sim and microSD cards

In this step we will remove the SIM and microSD cards. To remove the SIM card, we will slide the metal tray, which incorporates the phone, and this will be ejected.

To remove the microSD, we will lift the rubber protector and pull it off.

Step 5 Central housing and side trims

We will remove the side trims, for this we will remove the three hexagonal screws (H0.7) that hold each one of them.

Now we can unlock the casing.

Step 6 Removing the motherboard

To remove the motherboard first we have to disconnect the touch screen.

Now we can undo it from the front casing.

Step 7 Despegar display LCD

With the help of a pick or other fine tool, we will take off the screen by inserting it between the plate and the screen.

Step 8 Display LCD

We will finish by disconnecting the screen of the motherboard. For this we will have to remove the shielding of the plate that covers the connector of the screen.
