Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Bq Aquaris E4

Characteristics:
Dimensions: 123 x 62 x 10 mm.
Weight: 125 gr.
Screen: IPS, 800x400 pixels 4 inches.
Memory: 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory.
Processor: Quad Core Cortex A7, 1.3 GHz. GPU: Mali 400 MP2
Front camera : 2MP.
Rear camera : 8MP autofocus, dual flash.
Battery: 1700mAh Li-ion.
Operating system: Android 4.4 Kitkat.

Step 2 Remove back casing

We will start by removing the back cover, for which we will use a plastic opening tool that will allow us to release the hooks of the casing easily.

Step 3 Remove battery and cards

We can use the same opening tool for other functions such as lifting the battery or helping us to remove the SIM card. These steps are as simple as we can see in the images.

Step 4 Remove intermediate housing

To remove the housing, first remove the eleven Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold it and then, with the help of a pick or other flat opening tool, we will unhook this from the notches that hold it.

Step 5 Disconnect components

To access the handset we will have to remove the motherboard. For this we will disconnect the components that are connected this.

In this step we disconnect the flex from the push buttons and the flex from the LCD display.

Step 6 Disconnect components

In this step we disconnected the rear camera, the flex sensor and the digitizer flex.

Step 7 Removing the motherboard

To remove the motherboard, first remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) and then disconnect it from the auxiliary plate, lifting where shown in the fourth and fifth images.

We will also disconnect the coaxial cable.

Step 8 Motherboard

To finish, we will disconnect and remove the components that are still on the motherboard.

We remove the flex with sensors and flash and the front camera.
