Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 We open screen

To start we will remove the two Pentalobe 0.8 screws (TS1), and using a suction cup and a fine tool we will lift the screen.

Step 2 We disconnect battery

We remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield that we indicated in the first photo of this step, remove the shield, and with the help of a flat tool we will disconnect the battery to work with greater security.

Step 3 Component display

We remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the upper shield, and with the help of a flat tip tool we will disconnect the components that connect the screen to the motherboard.

Step 4 Rear camera

We remove the two screws that hold the rear camera, one is a Phillips (PH # 00) and the other is a Standoff, we remove the shield that covers the camera, we disconnect it and remove it with the help of a flat tool.

Step 5 Wifi antenna

We extract the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the antenna, and with the help of a flat tool we will disconnect it and take it off.

Step 6 Cover

We remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the cover, and we will remove it.

Step 7 Shields

We remove all the screws we pointed out in the first photo, Phillips (PH # 00) and Standoff, and the shields and antenna contacts.

Step 8 Components

We disconnect all the components that are connected to the motherboard.

Step 9 Base plate

We remove the card tray, and we will remove two Standoff screws, and the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that is hidden under an adhesive.

Step 10 Speaker with antenna

We remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) and the Triwing (Y0.6) that hold the shield and the speaker, and with the help of a flat tool we will take it off.

Step 11 GSM antenna

Finally we will only have to take off the faulty GSM antenna that we have to replace.
