Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 iPhone 6

Before starting make sure that the iPhone is off.

Step 2 Opening

Remove the 2 3.6mm Pentalobe screws, located on either side of the charging connector.

Step 3

Use the tool with suction cups to easily separate the front panel (screen + accessories) without damaging the equipment.

Step 4

The front panel will be attached to the base plate by the data flexes at the top. These flex cables are fragile and can be cut or broken, handle them with care.

Step 5 Panel frontal

Remove the Phillips screws that hold the shield covering the connections on the motherboard:

  • 3 screws of 1.2 mm
  • 1 screw of 1.7 mm
  • 1 screw of 3.1 mm

Step 6

Remove the shield to access the connectors.

Step 7

Disconnect the flexes from the front panel on the motherboard.

Step 8

Separate the front panel.

If the screen to be replaced does not have components (headset, home button ...) continue to where appropriate.

Step 9 Handset

Remove the metal bracket that holds the headset, secured by 3 Phillips screws:

  • 2.3 mm
  • 2.2 mm
  • 3.0 mm

Step 10

Separate the front camera and separate it next to the flex to the side.

Step 11

Remove the handset.

Step 12 Flex with front camera, light sensor and microphone

Take off the microphone to have the flex completely separate.

Step 13 Home button

Remove the metal support that holds the home button, removing the 2 1.9 mm Phillips screws.

Step 14

Disconnect the flex from the fingerprint reader and remove it carefully.

Step 15

Take off the home button, pushing it from the opposite side.

Step 16 screen

Finally, separate the metal blint, held by 6 Phillips screws.
