Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 SIM card

Make sure the computer is turned off before you start.

Eject the SIM card by pressing it until you hear "click".

Step 2 Back cover

Remove the Phillips screw located next to the USB charging connector.

Step 3

Separate the cover little by little with a prong all around.

Step 4

Remove the back cover.

Step 5 Rear camera

To remove the rear camera, disconnect it from the motherboard and pull it out gently.

Step 6 Motherboard

Remove the metal shield covering the connectors.

Step 7

Disconnect the data cable from the display. Remove the Phillips screw that is underneath.

Step 8

Disconnect the coaxial cable.

Step 9

Disconnect the flex cable from side keys.

Step 10

Pull the plate away from the top to gain access to the connectors.

Step 11

Remove the protective plastic and disconnect the battery cable.

Step 12

Disconnect the connector on the bottom flex to separate the base plate.

Step 13 Battery

Take off the battery trying not to deform it, as it could damage it.

Step 14

Remove the battery.

Step 15 Antenna coaxial cable

Disconnect and remove the coaxial cable by pulling it.

Although the picture is not shown, it is not necessary to remove the plate or the battery.

Step 16 HOT GLASS

Insert the HOT GLASS in the microwave for the time specified in the instructions for use.

If you heat it too long, the gel inside will expand and the bag will be inflated until the content is poured.

The last minute in the microwave is advised to interrupt every 15 seconds and knead the gel inside with your hands to distribute the heat.

Step 17 screen

Apply heat to the screen for a couple of minutes.

Step 18

Insert the tip of the tine into the joint between the screen and the housing frame.

Scroll the outline of the phone to peel off the glue.

Avoid the area of ??the flex cable since you could cut it with the barb.

You should not use force as it could split or damage the screen. Repeat the previous step and apply heat as many times as necessary to remove it easily.

Step 19

Separate the screen taking care that the flex cable does not bend or jam as it could break.

To change only the glass window (in case of breakage, for example), consult the display separation guide:
