Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back cover

We start by heating the back cover at about 60 ° C for about a minute to soften the adhesive. Once hot, we will slide an opening tool between it and the frame to take it off.

Step 2 Remove antenna module and headset

Remove the four Phillips screws (PH # 00) and the stickers that hold the headset and antenna module. Then we will desencajaremos levering in the place that we indicate in the fourth and fifth image.

Step 3 Remove speaker module and antenna

In order to remove the lower module, we remove the five Phillips screws (PH # 00) and disengage it.

We will also remove the thermal adhesive that covers part of the battery and the motherboard.

Step 4 Disconnect components

Remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the shield covering the connectors on the display and the Boom key. Then disconnect the components that are connected to the motherboard.

Step 5 Disconnect components

We finished disconnecting the components by disconnecting the antenna coaxial cable and the upper flex. We will also have to remove the SIM / SD tray.

Step 6 Remove motherboard and battery

Now undo the motherboard and remove the battery. We will also detach the flex cables from the screen from the chassis.

Step 7 Fullscreen

We will heat the screen at about 60ºC for about a minute to soften the adhesive.

With the hot screen, we will introduce an opening tool between it and the frame to detach it. Next, we will slide the flex through the hole in the chassis.
