Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

To begin with, with the help of a flat tool we will unhook all the edges of the back shell.

Step 2 Intermediate housing

We remove the fourteen Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate housing, and to unhook it we will use the same tool that we used in the previous step.

Step 3 Fingerprint reader

We disconnect and remove the fingerprint reader.

Step 4 Motherboard

We disconnect all components that are connected to the motherboard and remove it

Step 5 Side push buttons

Take off the flex with the side buttons that we are going to replace.
