Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

To begin, we must apply heat to the back cover, and with the help of a fine tool we will open a small hole through which we will introduce one or more plastic prongs, with which it will be less likely that we will damage the case.

Step 2 Middle housing with NFC

We remove the twenty-one Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate housings, disconnect the flex from the rear flash that is attached to the housing, and with the help of a flat tool we will unhook the housings.

Step 3 We disconnect the battery

We disconnect the battery to work with greater safety.

Step 4 Charging connector

We disconnect and extract the charging connector.

Step 5 Interconnection flex

We disconnect and remove the interconnection flex.

Step 6 Coaxial cables

We disconnect and remove the coaxial cables.

Step 7 Flex bridge

We disconnect and take off the flex bridge.

Step 8 Rear cameras

We disconnect the four connectors from the cameras and we can lift the module.

Step 9 Front cameras

We extract the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the shield that covers the camera connectors, and with the help of a tool we disconnect the front cameras.

Step 10 Base plate

We extract the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the motherboard, disconnect the connectors that are connected to the motherboard, and with the help of a flat tool we will lift the motherboard.

Step 11 Flex with proximity sensor

We take off the flex with proximity sensor.

Step 12 Power button

We remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the ignition button, and with the help of tweezers we will detach it.

Step 13 Battery

We take off the battery.

Step 14 Auxiliary board

We remove the card tray, and with the help of a flat tool we will remove it.

Step 15 Speaker

We extract the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the speaker, and we will detach the speaker.

Step 16 Fullscreen

Finally we will take off the fingerprint reader from the damaged screen that we have to replace.
