Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Sony Xperia Tablet Z

Characteristics:

Dimensions: 17.2 x 26.6 x 0.7cm
Weight: 495 g.
Display: 1920x1200 pixels, 10.1 inches LED.
Memory: 16/32 GB + microSD, 2GB RAM.
Processor: quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 1.5GHz, Adreno 320 GPU.
Front camera : 2.2MP.
Rear camera : 8MP.
Battery: Standard, Li-Po 6000 mAh.
Operating system: Android 4.1.

Step 2

To start disassembling, as always, remove the SD card first. At the bottom of the tablet, we will find the cover that covers the card reader. Open the lid and lightly press the card to be ejected.

Step 3 Take off back cover

The back cover of this tablet is attached. With the help of a pick and a spatula we will take it off. If necessary, using a heat blanket or a hot air gun, we could apply heat to soften the glue.

Step 4 Plate with SD reader

To remove this board, first disconnect it from the motherboard. After disconnecting it, we remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold it and we can remove it.
