Step 2 SIM and SD cards

Remove the SIM and SD cards.

Step 3 Touch screen

To open this model, there is no choice but to first take off the touch screen.

We will apply heat with a thermal mat to soften the adhesive located around the contour.

We introduce an opening tool like the barb between the glass and the plastic frame and we go around the contour, taking off the adhesive.

Step 4

Hold the screen with a suction cup and start by separating the bottom of the screen.

In the upper part the data flex is located. For this reason we will leave it united by this part.

Step 5

Once the touch screen is detached we can separate the back cover.

With an opening tool, we unhook the back cover of the chassis where the LCD is located on one side and the plate and components on the other side.

Step 6 Touch screen

Finally, disconnect the flex from the touch screen of the motherboard. To do this, press the connector tab and gently pull the flex.
