Step 2 Remove SD card

We will start by removing the micro SD card. Otherwise, we could damage the tablet when trying to remove the case.

Step 3 Back case

To remove the back cover, we will use a plastic opening tool. Introducing this between the frame and the housing, we can unhook the notches that hold it.

Step 4 Disconnect flex cables

To remove the touch screen, first disconnect it from the motherboard.

Before proceeding to take off the screen, we will heat it to soften the glue.

To do this, we use a thermal mat that heats the entire surface of the glass. Set the thermostat between 80 and 100 º C.

Step 5 Touch screen

With the hot screen, we slide a prong or other flat tool between it and the frame to unstick it.

We will avoid going through the area where the touch screen flex is located as we could damage it.
