Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Opening

Use the tine tool to separate the back cover.

Step 2 Remove back casings

Remove the 10 Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the upper intermediate housing. Remove the intermediate housing with the opening tool. With the opening tool release the fingerprint reader connection to remove the back cover.

Step 3 Drop connections from the motherboard

With the opening tool release the connections of the motherboard.

Step 4 Remove motherboard

Remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the motherboard. Remove the base plate with the opening tool.
