Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove back cover

We start by removing the back cover. To do this, we introduce an opening tool between it and the frame. Making leverage movements, we will manage to release it.

Step 2 Remove battery

In this step, we simply remove the battery by levering it to disengage it.

Step 3 Remove intermediate housing

Remove the six Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate casing and disengage it.

Step 4 Removing the motherboard

To remove the base plate, first disconnect the interconnection flex, the screen and the side push buttons. Then we remove the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the plate and disengage it.

Step 5 Remove speaker module

In this step, we remove the loudspeaker module in order to disconnect the flex from the auxiliary panel display. We will also take off this flex from the chassis.

Step 6 Fullscreen

We heat the screen at about 60º for about a minute. When it is hot, we introduce a flat opening tool between it and the frame. Sliding the tool around the contour we will remove it.
