Step 3

Once the top part is released, the rest of the lid will come out easily.

Step 4 Battery

Remove the battery by pulling on the bottom.

Step 5 SIM and microSD cards

Remove the SIM and micro SD cards.

Step 6 Intermediate housing

Remove the 10 Phillips screws that hold the middle housing.

Note that one of the screws is covered by a white sticker.

Step 7

Use a flat plastic tool to disassemble the intermediate housing.

Step 8

Separate the intermediate housing.

Step 9 Rear camera

Remove the yellow sticker that covers the connectors.

Step 10

Unplug the camera from the motherboard and remove it by pulling gently.

Step 11 Front camera

Unplug the flex from the front camera, by pulling on the tab of the connector and pulling gently.

Step 12

Pull gently on the camera to detach it.

Step 13 Motherboard

Unplug and detach the touch screen data flex on the motherboard.

Step 14

Disconnect the data flex from the LCD display, by pulling the connector tab and gently pulling the cable.

Step 15

Disconnect, in the same way, the interconnection flex with the auxiliary auxiliary plate.

Step 16

Remove the Phillips screw that holds the motherboard.

Step 17

Separate the base plate from the chassis.

Step 18

Disconnect the coaxial antenna cable to separate the motherboard.

Step 19 Touch screen

The screen is attached to the chassis by a strip of adhesive that runs all the way around.

To detach it we will apply heat to soften the adhesive and to peel off easily.

We suggest 2 methods:

  1. Hot Glass: Heat blanket for microwaves. (Advised)
  2. Hot air nozzle: Incuded in the SMD welding stations.

Step 20

After applying heat to the glass of the touch screen, insert a prong between the glass and the chassis. Scroll around the contour, avoiding cutting the data flexes when passing.

Step 21

Separate the glass progressively, starting at the bottom, leaving the data flex to the end.

Step 22

Pass the flex cable from the opposite side so that it does not get stuck or damaged.

Step 23 Display LCD

Remove the adhesive with translucent windows from the leds of the front keys.

Step 24 Auxiliary plate

Peel off the chassis plate with the metal spatula.

Although it is not shown in the photograph, it is NOT necessary to remove the vibrator.

Step 25

Take off the flex with the illumination of the front keys.

Although it is not shown in the photograph, it is NOT necessary to extract the display.

Step 26

We will need to bend one end of the flex carefully to be able to pass it through the slot towards the opposite side and thus extract it.
