Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

We use an opening tool to disengage the back shell. We will make the outline until it is completely removed.

Step 2 Intermediate housing

Unscrew the Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate housing.

We unhook it.

We disconnect the flex from the fingerprint reader and remove the middle shell completely.

Step 3 Drums

We disconnect the flex from the battery and remove it.

Step 4 Components

We disconnect the flex from the screen and the digitizer.

Step 5 screen

We heat the screen with a thermal mat at 80 degrees for 2 minutes.

We introduce a metal pick between the screen and the frame. We change it by a plastic spike so as not to scratch the frame.

We do all the contour by taking off the adhesive that holds the screen.

Step 6 screen

We took off the screen flex, separated it and removed it.
