Sony Xperia X Compact - Charge connector

Guide with all the necessary steps so that you can change the components of the Sony Xperia X Compact (F5321) yourself.

Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back case

To begin with we must apply a little heat to the back of the phone, to take off the back cover more easily.

Step 2 Intermediate housing

We extract the 7 Phillips screws (PH # 00), disconnect the flex from the top and the NFC antenna, and we can unhook the intermediate casing.

Step 3 Interconnection Flex

We disconnected the interconnection flex.

Step 4 Tray

We remove the tray from the cards.

Step 5 Bottom module

We extract the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the module, disconnect the vibrator and we can remove the module.

Step 6 Cameras

We disconnect and remove the cameras from the phone.

Step 7 Components

Disconnect the remaining components that are connected on that side of the motherboard, lift the base plate carefully, because the bottom should disconnect two other flex that are covered by an adhesive.

Step 8 Motherboard

Once the adhesive is peeled off, we can disconnect the two flexes and remove the base plate.

Step 9 Charge connector

We take off the connector that we are going to replace, and we remove it without damaging the flex of the screen.
