Step 2 Remove tray

We will start by removing the tray of the SIM cards and the SD card. To extract the SD, we will press it until it is automatically ejected. To extract the SIM, we will extract it by pulling it with a pair of tweezers.

Step 3 Back cover

The back cover is glued with adhesive, so we will heat the device for about one minute at about 60 ° C to soften the glue.

Once hot, we will introduce a plectrum between the lid and the frame and we will slide it around the contour until the adhesive is removed.

Step 4 Intermediate housing

Even though it is not absolutely necessary, we will disconnect the battery to prevent damage to the motherboard.

To remove the intermediate casing, first remove the nineteen screws that hold it and then disengage it from the chassis.

Step 5 Disconnect components

In this step we disconnect the components of the base plate to be able to later remove it.

We disconnected the rear camera, the flex display and the vibrator. We will also remove the screw that still holds the plate.

Step 6 Front camera

To remove the base plate, first remove the metal frames on the side and then we can disengage. Before removing it completely, we will have to disconnect the front camera.

To finish, we only have to disengage the camera from the chassis.
