Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Back cover

To remove the back cover we will pry it off with a flat tool.

Step 2 Battery

We will do the same to remove the battery.

Step 3 Internal housing

We remove the ten Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the housing to the chassis and disengage it by prying it off with a flat tool.

Step 4 Base plate

We disconnect all the components from the motherboard and extract it with a flat plastic tool.

Step 5 Ear speaker

We will remove the ear speaker by carefully peeling it off with a flat tool.
