Motorola Moto G6 Play - Auxiliary plate

Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 SIM tray

With a SIM removal tool we remove the SIM tray.

Step 2 Back case

We apply heat on the back of the mobile. We will heat for 2 minutes at 80 degrees.

We will introduce a metal prong between the back cover and the mobile. We will exchange it for a plastic spike to avoid scratching it. We will do all the contour taking off the back cover.

Step 3 Fingerprint reader

Unscrew the two Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the metal sheet that protects the flex of the fingerprint reader. We will remove it and disconnect the flex from the fingerprint reader.

Step 4 Intermediate housing

Unscrew the Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the intermediate housing and remove it.

Step 5 Lower housing

Unscrew the Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the lower case, disconnect the interconnection flex and disengage the lower case.

Step 6 Auxiliary plate

Unscrew the Phillips screws (PH # 00) that hold the auxiliary plate to the lower housing. Disconnect the coaxial cable and remove the auxiliary plate.
