Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove SIM / SD tray

We start by removing the SIM / SD tray and removing the lower screws of the housing.

Step 2 Remove back casing

We introduce an opening tool between the frame and the screen. By doing a bit of leverage we will be able to disengage it easily.

Step 3 Remove connector shield

In this step, we remove the shield that covers the battery connector to which it is attached. We will be careful when removing it so as not to damage the flex.

We also remove the adhesives that cover the other two connectors.

Step 4 Disconnect components

We disconnected the interconnection flex and the flex of the display. At the top of the plate, we unplug the flex from the digitizer and remove the six Phillips screws (PH # 00) that still hold it.

Step 5 Unplug motherboard

We can undo the plate. Before removing it, we will have to disconnect the coaxial antenna cable.

Step 6 Motherboard

To finish, we disconnected the cameras from the motherboard.
