Tutorial: Step by step

Step 1 Remove SIM / SD tray

We start by removing the SIM / SD tray and removing the lower screws of the housing.

Step 2 Remove back casing

We introduce an opening tool between the frame and the screen. By doing a bit of leverage we will be able to disengage it easily.

Step 3 Remove speaker module

Remove the six Phillips screws (PH # 00), detach the adhesives that hold the module and disengage it.

Step 4 Remove auxiliary board

We disconnect the flex from the home button, the interconnect and the coaxial antenna cable. Remove the Phillips screw (PH # 00) that holds the plate to the chassis and take it off.

Step 5 Home button

We remove the screws and the shield that hold the button and take it off.
