Step 1 Back cover.

Step 2 Battery

Remove the battery by pulling on the bottom.

Step 3 Intermediate housing

Remove the 10 Phillips screws that hold the housing.

Step 4

Remove the antenna module with the plastic tool.

Step 5

Remove the back cover, applying pressure with the opening tool on each of the plastic hooks located around the contour.

Step 6 Rear camera

Remove the rear camera, disconnecting it from the motherboard and pulling gently on it.

Step 7 Front camera

Disconnect the camera from the motherboard and gently pull it out.

Step 8 Motherboard

Disconnect the data cables from the display on the motherboard.

Step 9

Separate the base plate.

Step 10

Peel off the adhesive that holds the data cables of the display and the touch screen.

Step 11 Touch screen

The glass touch window is attached to the chassis all around with adhesive.

To detach it easily, we apply heat, softening the adhesive.

You can use the hot air gun to heat the screen in a few seconds.

The gun emits very hot air, use with caution. We recommend the minimum power and short bursts.

Step 12 HOT GLASS

If you do not have a hot air gun, we suggest the HOT GLASS, a thermal retention blanket with high thermal retention. We recommend this tool for its ease of use and security.

Insert the HOT GLASS in the microwave for the time specified in the instructions.

To heat it evenly, it is necessary to interrupt the microwave every 30 seconds to distribute heat throughout the HOT GLASS with your hands.

Apply heat to the edges of the screen for a couple of minutes.

Step 13 Touch screen

Insert the tip of the tine behind the glass and go around the contour of the screen to detach the adhesive.

Avoid the bottom part, where the data flexes are located. I could cotarlos them with the plectrum.

Step 14

Little by little, separate the glass window, finally leaving the lower side, where the data flexes are.

Step 15

Finally, separate the remaining side, passing the flex data cable.
